The sun has been grazing my skin and reminding me to appreciate and enjoy my time. I paired an all white crop and skirt with an oversized blazer for a sunny, weekend look.

Clearly, my hair wanted to be the star of the show.

Here's how I achieved this look:

-Took hair down from a bun, wet my hands, and rolled my hair into 6 bantu knots. Spritzed lightly with The Roots Braid Sheen Spray and covered with scarf + bonnet.

-The next day, I unraveled the knots and used 4 bobby pins to secure the hair into an updo. The trick is to lightly separate the curls and move them about until they fall into a side-swept cascade. It will take a few tries, but it's well worth it.

I'm headed to New York tomorrow, and it's weird to say that I'm looking forward to the high of 63 degrees. I'll take what I can get to be in the city where the guys have the best accents and the pizza is made of dreams.
